Strategic Design Director

Strategic designers are responsible for reframing business and organisational problems around the collective needs of people and communities.

Level 1: Associate
Experience

As an Associate you have good awareness but limited professional experience or training in your practice area. Your beginner level experience likely involves working on a specific challenge in one industry.

Salary range

¥3,000,000 - ¥5,000,000 annual salary

Contributions
Level 2: Intermediate
Experience

As an Intermediate you have solid experience working on different challenges within one or two industries. You’re proactive in improving in your main practice area, deepening your ‘T’ (with the inner core being technical expertise, the top being general expertise), while gaining further exposure across new problems and industries.

Salary range

¥5,000,000 - ¥7,000,000 annual salary

Level 3: Senior
Experience

As a Senior your expertise spans a wide range of programs, challenges, and industries. You’re dedicated to deepening and expanding your knowledge through continual learning, broadening the 'T' of your skills. You’re adept at addressing a multitude of complex problems across industries.

Salary range

¥7,000,000 - ¥9,000,000 annual salary

Level 4: Lead
Experience

As a Lead you have extensive experience and training, being the go-to person in your practice area. You’re focused on continually learning and improving your business acumen, people skills, people management, and coaching. You have high emotional intelligence, complementing your already established technical skills.

Salary range

¥9,000,000 - ¥11,000,000 annual salary

Contributions
Level 5: Director / Principal
Experience

As a Director or Principal you’re a leader in your practice, with deep experience and training, being the go-to person in the company and industry. You define and evolve your areas of responsibility, uplifting the team and generating new knowledge that influences our clients and elevates our reputation.

Salary range

¥11,000,000 - ¥14,000,000 annual salary

Level 6: Executive / Head
Experience

As an Executive or Head of a business area you have deep experience in scaling and managing companies. You’re externally recognised in your field as a thought leader and can make sound decisions on business strategy, leadership, development, operations, and finances.

Salary range

¥14,000,000+ annual salary
